Solid Choice for Madrid Visit

The staff members were very nice. The rooms were very clean. The location is near the Tres Aguas mall with food and a grocery store. I found the train station to be only a ten minute walk.
The room got a bit too warm, and I could not adjust the temperature. The window had limited opening, so the highway noise was a factor.

The breakfast had decent coffee from a machine. I enjoyed that. My room came with a little sofa. It was very handy for unpacking my suitcase!
The beds are rock hard, I woke up so sore the first morning! I also had to pay a $20 deposit just to use an iron. That surprised me.

The breakfast buffet offered a good selection including tortilla de patatas, and staff restocked it frequently. parking felt secure. That was a positive. the availability of public transport to central madrid was a definite advantage for sightseeing. the staff provided assistance with directions to the metro.
The room was slightly too warm. I could not fully adjust the temperature.
